OPPO Stands with Malaysia and Reaches Out to Families in Need with #OPPOCare4U

Our current predicament has brought out the best in many of us, as seen with how Malaysians have reached out to help their fellow neighbors every day. Sharing that spirit of togetherness, OPPO Malaysia is standing united with the nation to provide aid to families in need.


From today onwards, those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and are in need can visit OPPO’s foodbanks, located at selected OPPO Brand Stores and participating stores for aid in the form of essential packages. For families without the means to travel to these foodbanks, they may reach out to OPPO representatives - listed at https://www.oppo.com.my/page/OPPOCare4U - and the team will arrange to have the essential packages delivered to them. Detailed food bank locations can also be found on the site.

With travel restrictions and nationwide laws hampering the livelihoods of the less fortunate, OPPO Malaysia has recognized that it has a responsibility to its community. Ensuring that the needy and their families have a homey meal is a priority for OPPO as a socially conscious global brand, especially during with Hari Raya Haji just around the corner.

“OPPO has been blessed to be able to stay afloat despite the pandemic. Knowing that there is an increasing number of Malaysian families who are unsure of their next meal is a wake-up call for all of us to reach out so that we can get through this together and return to normalcy. Today, we want to do what we can to minimize the number of hungry families, especially now that we are closing in on Hari Raya Haji,” said Nikki Chen Lu, Branding Director of OPPO Malaysia.


OPPO Malaysia’s essential aid can be claimed by families in need at selected outlets and partners nationwide, including in the states of Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Johor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Kelantan, Sabah, and Sarawak. To further extend their reach, OPPO is also working closely with region-specific NGOs and committees that were set-up to aid the needy during the pandemic.
